2. Rolling drum and mandrel: The glass composition used for smooth use of the rolling drum and mandrel is powdery, with small particles and high softness, and then it is coated on the inner hole and outer surface of the steel. Also, it is possible to wrap the glass cloth on the outer surface of the steel material and wind the glass cloth strip on the core rod.
3. Removal of the glass film on the outer surface of the steel pipe: Since the glass smoothing agent is used when rolling, a thin glass film will be preserved on the inside and outside of the rolled steel pipe. This film is the same as ordinary glass, hard and hard. Crisp, which affects the commodity after being put into use, so it must be removed. There are mechanical and chemical methods for removal. The mechanical method can be used for shot peening, water cooling and stretching and straightening. If we use chemical methods to remove the glass film, we all know that the chemical properties of the glass are properly stable. Therefore, if we use chemical methods, we use strong acids or strong alkaline liquids. However, the damage of the pickling method is that it is highly corrosive to various steel pipe raw materials, which may cause the surface of the steel pipe to be pickled, especially for carbon steel. It is not cost-effective and inappropriate to choose to pickle alone. So nowadays, the method of removing acid and alkali is mostly used.
